KL Communications Welcomes Several New Associates

October 2004

RED BANK, NJ: KL Communications is undergoing sizeable growth and expansion as it hires on several new employees and expands the client list and services. The marketing research firm based out of Red Bank, NJ has increased the number of associates while the demand for KLC services steadily increase. The organization's "Community Building" approach to creating and maintaining online panels for companies such as Entertainment Weekly, Teen Vogue, and Time have proven successful and unique. Providing clients with custom online panels to facilitate the research process, KLC is a small firm doing big business in the growing field of online marketing research.

Bob Lussier - Director of Community Services
Mr. Lussier joined the KL Communications team in 2002, and in May of 2004 took over the new post "Director of Community Services". Mr. Lussier's professional background includes over 10 years of experience in technical support as well as technical training. With expertise in both the technical arena as well as client service, he also fills the role of Manager of IT Services.

Mr. Lussier holds a Business degree from Susquehanna University, where his emphasis was in Marketing. He lives in Red Bank, New Jersey with his wife Tiffany and son Bobby.

Angela Zavila - Director of Research Services
KLC is pleased to announce the hiring of Ms. Zavila as Director of Research Services, where she oversees the technical aspects of the research process and supports any advanced statistical analyses. She has worked in marketing research for more than two decades representing both the client and service sides of the industry.

After receiving her M.S. in Consumer Economics and Marketing from Cornell University, she worked for AT&T and then American Express, conducting strategic and product development research instrumental in developing the initial online service offerings of these firms. She then moved to Citibank, N.A. and conducted customer research for the North American Consumer Banking Group for several years.

In 1991, Ms. Zavila moved to the service side of the marketing research business. As Director of Client Services for Visual Research Communications, she managed quantitative research projects for a variety of clients. In 1995, Ms. Zavila began her own marketing analysis practice, specializing in product development and service quality research. She resides near Red Bank, NJ with her husband and two daughters.

Jamie Lang - Project Director
KLC is pleased to announce the hiring of Ms. Jamie Lang as Project Director. Ms. Lang attended The College of New Jersey in Ewing, NJ. There she earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.

After working her way up in retail, Ms. Lang decided to switch directions and enter the field of Marketing Research. She worked at Suburban Associates specializing in consumer research through field studies before joining KLC. Her work at KLC includes: database management, tabulation analysis, report writing, and survey programming.

Adriana Marin - Senior Project Director
KLC is pleased to announce the hiring of Ms. Adriana Marin as Senior Project Director. Ms. Marin holds a degree in Market Research from the Marketing University Institute ISUM, in Caracas, Venezuela. Her professional experience in the research field goes back to 1997, when she started designing questionnaires, and collecting/processing/analyzing market data at Organization IVP.

After moving to the US, she expanded her education by obtaining a degree in Marketing from Kean University, NJ. Soon after, she briefly joined Mail Dairy Panel Inc, as a research assistant, and then continued her professional advancement by working at Knowledge Networks SRI, where she supervised phone studies and translated questionnaires into Spanish, among other duties.

Ms. Marin is responsible for the programming of Web-Based surveys, database management, tabulation and analysis of the results.

Phil Smith - Director of Operations
KLC is pleased to announce the hiring of Mr. Smith as Director of Operations. His prior experience includes of 16 years in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst & Young and KPMG, both in tax compliance and HR consulting.

Mr. Smith's clients included Fortune 500 companies as well as internal clients.

A graduate of Villanova University with degree in Business Administration, Mr. Smith's concentration was in Finance and Marketing. He lives in Shrewsbury, NJ with his wife and two children.
