Who We Are - Meet the Staff Here are some of the folks you'll likely be working with at KL Communications:
Meet KLC's President, Mr. Kevin P. Lonnie…
Currently, Mr. Lonnie is Vice President of Communications for the Interactive Marketing Research Organization (IMRO) and also serves on the Leadership Committee for the Journal of Online Research. Until recently he served as VP of Communications for the New Jersey division of the American Marketing Association. From 1983 to 1987, Mr. Lonnie was Marketing Manager of New Products for NFO Research and helped reposition the nation's largest panel company from traditional mail surveys to an interactive future. From 1988 to 1996, he was VP of Client Services for Visual Research Communications. In that capacity he oversaw all research services. In 1996, Mr. Lonnie began KL Communications with the specific purpose of establishing a firm that would provide outstanding and insightful research. "There are two points of focus for us. First of all, to collect valuable data, we need to have normal people answer our surveys. Getting typical people to respond is an industry wide problem. To combat that, we're committed to building custom online communities that give back to respondents hopefully, more than we ask of them. Second, I have always felt the communication of the research findings is unnecessarily dull; one more boring Power Point slide after another. We're using technology for old fashioned purposes and that's to showcase the voice of the customer" says Mr. Lonnie. "CD and DVD audio/video clips allow us to bring the customer right into the boardroom. That's powerful stuff and is far more effective in communicating the insights we've discovered." Mr. Lonnie lives in Red Bank, NJ with his wife Susan, daughter Kathleen and identical twin sons, Michael and Sean.
Mr. Holbert has a strong background in both quantitative and qualitative research techniques. Over the past several years, he has moderated dozens of focus groups and in-depth interviews. Mr. Holbert also has extensive experience in the world of online research. He has been a featured speaker at both national AMA and MRA conferences on the latest trends in online research.
